Already, Microsoft has acknowledged more than a dozen bugs affecting Windows 10 version 2004. Some originate in the OS itself, while others stem from installing one or more of the most recent Patch Tuesday updates. The latest such bug is causing login problems for some Chrome and Edge users.

Windows 10 May 2020 Update website login issues

It appears that installing the Windows 10 May 2020 Update may cause your Chrome or Edge browser to clear or otherwise lose saved login details. One user shared to the Windows 10 Subreddit how they’re forced to re-authenticate into websites after each PC boot. They claim that this problem started after installing Windows 10 v2004. In addition, the browsers are unable to remember the user’s OneDrive and Google login details. So, the user has to supply their user name and password each time they boot their PC. This is not the first time users are reporting browser issues after installing the May 2020 update. According to some reports, the update may cause Chrome to clear all your cookies. Not only is the bug deleting saved passwords, but it’s also clearing sync configurations. Microsoft hasn’t confirmed these issues yet.
