Many people have a love and hate relationship when it comes to Windows Vista and that’s because, despite its mostly despised status, it brought some cool features with it. Things likes of Instant Search, Gadgets, and Aero graced that platform, of which Instant Search is available in Windows 10. Interestingly enough, many Windows 10 users have been pushing Microsoft to implement Aero into Windows 10, and we wouldn’t mind a move like that: it was a cool feature to have in Windows Vista — that is, if your computer was up to the task. If anyone is wondering if they can upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows Vista, it is impossible. Purchasing Windows 10 outright or opting instead for Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 for less money and upgrading to Windows 10 are options. Bear in mind, though, the free upgrade to Microsoft’s newest operating system will end this year, so move quickly. On the same token, extended support for Windows 7 will end on January 14, 2020 while extended support for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 will cease January 10, 2023.
