Recently, the company announced an exciting new feature for its Outlook mobile app. The company named this feature as actionable messages and targets business users. The new option allows smartphone users to take appropriate actions on their messages.
Outlook App gets enhanced ink support
Now, Microsoft teased a new build for Windows Insiders enrolled in the Fast Ring. This build brings quite a few changes to the Windows Desktop Outlook app. Microsoft added new inking support that allows users to use their fingers or pen to ink in their emails. The application offers a variety of Ink Effects including Galaxy Pen and Rainbow Pen. Microsoft says that you can directly start drawing on your existing pictures or sketch freely in a drawing canvas. You need to navigate to the Draw tab to access this feature. However, the Draw tab is only limited to touch-enabled devices. Those who are using other devices need to navigate to Customize Ribbon » Draw tab. Furthermore, the Redmond giant also released desktop notification support and a built-in translator for Outlook web earlier this year. The built-in translator has the ability to automatically detect the source language and translate it into another language. You can find this feature at the top of your email message. We can see that Microsoft is really working hard to add new functionalities to most of its services.
