Windows 10 Pro version 1703: Defer updates for 365 days
The Pro version of the Windows 10 Creators Update will allow users to defer updates for 365 days. As a quick reminder, the Pro version of Windows 10 version 1607 allows users to defer updates for up to four months. Specifically, the option to defer updates for a entire year applies only to feature updates which include new features and capabilities. Security updates can be deferred for a max of 35 days. This is an excellent piece of news for Windows 10 users, confirming that Microsoft is indeed listening to them: As far as Windows 10 Home version 1703 is concerned, there is no way to defer or pause updates because there are no advanced update options available that allow users to block updates.
